Internship Performing Arts
Kristján Ingimarsson Company (KIC) and Hangar People – Open call for international and Danish interns
Two periods in 2026/2027 — Join our laboratory for performative, interactive installations & immersive formats.
We are now opening for international and Danish interns to become part of our process in creating immersive, interactive installations and performative formats.
We work in the intersection of performance, installation art, video and technology, developing new artistic experiences where audiences are activated and engaged — often through the use of plexiglass boxes, mobile units, and site-specific formats.
We are offering two internship periods during the 2026/2027 season.
As an intern, you will gain insight into our work, follow our team, contribute to the development of new pieces and concepts.
Period 1: Mid September to end November 2026
Period 2: March and April 2027
Who are we looking for?

This internship is open for creative minds in the fields of:
– Performing Arts (theatre, dance, new circus, etc.)
– Visual and Installation arts
– Video and Web Design
– Technicians, designers, and developers interested in hybrid formats and interactivity

Where?
The internship takes place at KIC Lab/Showroom in Vordingborg, Denmark. You will be working closely with our core team during the entire period.
